Running On Air was founded by Mary Rose Kitlowski in October 2014.  Mary is a runner with a rare lung disease called Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia (PCD).  Running On Air’s current mission is to raise awareness of lung diseases (PCD in particular), oxygen needs, and rare diseases.

We do this through virtual races that benefit different non-profit organizations with similar goals (such as The PCD Foundation and The National Organization for Rare Disorders (NORD)).

Mary is also raising awareness by running in all 50 states.
